Locked Keys In Truck

I went for a jog and left the keys on my front seat with the doors unlocked (I thought) and when I came back my door was locked. The wife has my spare and is out of town. I have electric locks. I don't have a slim jim. Is there a way to open the door using a coat hanger? I'm pretty useless when it comes to breaking into things. I tried to get the sliding rear window open w/ a credit card but had no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to hire a locksmith if I don't absolutely have to.

None for the immediate assistance, but now you should order a wireless keypad. This will never happen again.

wish I could help! but DON'T use a coat hanger, I think the lock 'rod' (if it's not a cable) is encased in a sheath to prevent just this. good luck

You can use a coat hanger, grab the top of your driver door, and pull out, put a wedge of some sort in there so you can work. Then work the coat hanger around till you can push the power door lock button forward with the hanger. Won't work if the battery is dead, but I have done it this way on many venicles, including my Frontier.

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up using a screwdriver b/c I didn't have a wedge. It took a while to get the coat hanger in position but I was finally able to push the lock button forward. Now I need to look into getting a wireless keypad. Any suggestions on where to get one?
