oh... well thats just a little more than what i want/need.. lol I want a FUNCTIONAL set up.. lol... with bars that low below the truck, looks like a show truck...

I know they have the torsion to coil over set up that is supposed to be pretty pricey, but i haven't found the exact price for it yet that you can lift pretty good with... But i'm just exploring idea's... If i could buy parts to increase SL without spending to damn much money i would... I'd like to have 4" to maybe 5" of SL... I'm just shy of 3" now up front, and i think i'm gonna go with the torsion bars from AC that are 30% higher spring rate that i think i should be able to get the full 3" out of without them being maxed out... I might look at upgrading control arms if it will give me any more lift, but if not, then i'll just upgrade them if it comes to needing to.. lol

i guess there is no way to get around that huh?

if you go to a 3in lift with t-bars then you need to replace the ucas, i recomend to go with calmini uca's there not that much more expencive than acs and they give you better ball joint angles for a better alignment. ac's are the same as the rancho lift and its not supposed to be lifted anymore than 2.5 ins. that is if they have any they can shipp within the next year or 2.

Well i didn't think they did anything for lift... thats why i asked if there was advantage to replacing... as i couldn't think of one...

i take it back get the slr ones with the greese fittings on the joints where they mount to the frame and ball joints. that will keep them from squeeking and whereing out control arm bushings. and while your at it get the stearing system to.

I think for our truck 6" worth of lift is good, 3 of that of course being from the bl. If it were more mid size then I'd say go higher though.

I though Houdini had those 4" springs on???

I agree..6" is plenty... Its just if i could go 4", maby even 5" with suspension, I would prefer that over the SL+BL combo... I think houdini has 3+3 though...

I see your point and agree. Although it would have had to been at least a 5" SL for me to not want to do the BL as well. I'm taller than most the traffic out there, of course then some huge Chevy / Ford / Dodge rolls by me with an 8 - 10" lift and dwarfs me...
