ignition switch removal
99 XE 4cyl 5 speed and I am thinking about replacing the ignition switch after I do the waterpump.
Radio and horn don't work without jiggling the key. Any tips on how to proceed? I don't have a shop manual yet. I'll buy one if I need to but just eant to know how easy it is to get the switch out. Any special tools needed? Thanks, JP

I replaced mine in my 280z years back. I ended up having to cut the damn thing off as it's not a part that's made to be taken off easily (I'm guessing for theft reasons). So there may be special parts needed, can't say for sure though
