Mine is a 2001 V-6 and my air temp sensor is in the intake resonator that is screwed to the top right of the radiator. It sits between the radiator and the main air filter box in the bottom of the resonator tube that runs from the radiator to the main air filter. It just pulls out.

It sits about 1 foot below the top right corner of the radiator, just behind it.

I hope this makes sense....

2001 SE V6 4x4. A.R.E. LSII Toneau cover, Chrome Pacer wheels, Nissan bedliner, Curtis hitch, 3 piece front billet grill, 55W halogen backup lights via switch, 4 prong trailer hitch plug, LED brake light and new tail lights, 20% illegal front window tint, Stillen cat-back exhaust, cone filter cold air intake.
