How many miles/gallons left when fuel light comes on?

Just curious, can't find this info anywhere. I have a 2001 Desert Runner V6 3.3L 2WD.

The farthest I've gone was just over 45 miles, I think there was .2 gallons left when I filled up. That's highway miles.

it varies and is a calculation based on mpg and mph, but I can warn you, I put mostly new fuel pumps in tanks with less than a qtr tank. The pump needs fuel to keep it cool and if you get in a habit of running it down, you run the pump hotter than normal when you do which can lead to an early demise. FYI

I agree with Brutal. When the light comes on there isn't really enough fuel in the tank to properly cool the fuel pump. Sorry this doesn't answer your question.

i have found no consistency with mine, when the light comes on i might have 15 or 50 miles left in her. thats a little scary so i don't let the light come on very much anymore.
