help!! how to take off the headlamp for 1st gen 1.2

hi!!! i just had a bulb burned out and i have nissan frontier 2002 XEV6 and i tried taking off the headlamp myself. however, when i took off like 3 nuts i found out that theres like a clip holding the underneath of the headlight housing.

how do you guys take it off? i tried prying it but i was wondering the plastic might crack.

please!!!! help!!!

They should just pull straight out after the two bolts are out. There is one clip on the bottom.

I just had to do this on mine. Take out the two bolts and give it a good tug. There's a couple of clips holding the bottom.

I took out the top two bolts.
Got underneath the truck and use a panel clip driver to pop out the lower section.

the clip will not crack right?? just pull it straight forward?? ok.. i'll try it!

this may be a dumb question, but ill ask it anyway... What the he!! are you taking the whole housing out for?? The bulb inserts brom the back of the housing. There is a keeper that you turn like a half twist then out comes the bulb.. Unplug it from the wire harness install new bulb w/out touching the glass and your done.

let me know how you are going to replace the parking bulb....

You show me where you said anything about a parking lamp in here...??Not trying to be mean.. just raised the question in my mind
Yes those parking lamps are tricky little things though....

you can replace bulb without taking out the headlight buddy.

not the parking one. when mine burnt out i had to take the entire housing off, and it was such a *****. theres NO WAY to get around not taking it out to replace the two side markers
