I guess anything is possible, but if you want the precats first you will have to redo the entire exhaust. The second set of cats is but 6" behind the precats, and the exhaust goes into the y pipe.

I emailed them a week or two ago and they said they were still working on them.

Depending on where you live you might be able to put them on if the truck as 80k or had it for 8 years (i think thats the fed exhaust law for emmisons controled cars and trucks) but if you live in a state that dosent do emmisons you good 2

Lets face it the barely highshool educated people at the emission testing place propbably wouldn't see it anyways.

They may not, but the emissions testing machines could. Remember removing a cat will mean you put out more emissions. This could cause you to fail the emissions test.

I really want the off-roading headers for the additional power gains, if they're easy enough to put on, I'd seriously consider swapping them out and either spoofing my emissions test (if i could find someone willing to do that) or simply keep the OEM stuff and put it back on every 2 years...

Contrary to the crap that people have had to go through for the SLR ones, talked to the main man at 4x4parts and he said they'll sell something that will compensate for sensor readings so it doesn't fark things up and cause a CEL to come on

No update as to when they'll be released, however the possibility of a group buy sounds promising. My recent email with Mike from 4x4parts...

Apr 17th (dcobb)
Is there an update on the headers for the 2003 Nissan Frontier? Last we spoke they were supposedly supposed to be released end of last month. Is there an update?
Also please let me know if you'd be interested in a group buy rate. I'm a member of Clubfrontier.org and have been stirring up interest with some of the 1st gen guys there regarding your headers.

Apr 18th (Mike)
They are made, just nut in my hands yet. As soon as they are in my hands we will post them on our web page. Sorry for delay. Regarding the group buy, we will see what can be done, but at this time it is to early to talk about.
