I cant tell a difference, but I dont have all the wires on. I could not get the 15 inch wire on. When I went to get the bolt on the driver side heat shield off, the socket slipped off the bolt and I big time busted my finger up. I did not remove the air box or anything else. Not to mention that I rounded the top of the bolt off so now all the socket does is slip off everytime. I will get in there one weekend with a wrench and try to get it off, but for now its going to stay the way it is.

i have the WRP kit for my 2nd gen and although i didn't notice any "performance" gains, my electronics do work better. i can't speak for the first gen kit but things like my power windows and dash lights work better than before, noticably.

I do agree with this but if you look at most vehicle specific grounding kits, they are in this range. I would have just built it myself but to be honest, I would rather pay someone for this with instructions then to have to make a DIY kit.

I agree with this if you want to build your own kit, you can get all the parts and piece it together.

I just wonder if it should be crimped on 6-sides using a crimping tool or 2-sides using a hammer or if it should be a solder crimp joint?

I would suggest that you use the search button.

A grounding kit is a set of ground wires that is susposed to help distribute the electronics load with better grounding. This in turn is susposed to give you better throttle response and more stable voltage. It is mainly used for people who have automatic transmissions or people who have upgraded their sounds systems or added extra lights or other electronic items.
