Grassroots4x4 center link?

I just ordered a Hoohaa center link from Grassroots4x4 for my 2000 Frontier. I was a little nervous as the most recent postings I could find mentioning that site were over two years ago, on searching several forums.

Has anyone ordered from them in the recent past? No telephone number just an email address. I need to get my truck back on the road so just ordered it. Paypal shows the funds were sent, if that means anything....I would rather fix my linkage right, but if it takes awhile I will go Moog for now,
Cannot have it out of service too long. I have heard negative things about the Crimini steering ( mostly the idler bushings), SLR is no longer in business, Total
Chaos is way too expensive, and I could not track down Rockhumper Fabworks.

The Grassroots4x4 link seemed the way to go, I just don't ave a core to send in until the new one comes.

That's good. I have one on my truck. It made the steering wheel feel so much more solid. Now if The stupid idler arm bushings wouldn't go out every other day I'd be good.

bushings

Well, I also ordered the bronze bushings from Bandit4x4 and a Total Chaos
idler arm brace...for a $110 total for both it seemed worth it, should help from what others have posted elsewhere.

BTW RockAuto had the Moog tie rod ends for half price of 4WDParts locally.

I have contact with SLR if you change your mind. Do those bandit bushings fit right on the stock arm? Do you need a press to our them in? How much was the new center link?

Yes the bushings fit the stock idler arm, they also have bushings for an unspecified hd arm. They need to be pressed in. Check grassroots4x4 for center link pricing, depends whether you send in your old one or not.

Howdy!

Yes, I'm still making steering upgrade kits. I've been selling them for quite a while, and I'll continue for as long as I'm able.

Your centerlink should have arrived on Saturday. Please let me know if it didn't, or if you have any questions during the installation.

I only have an email address listed on the website, Welcome to the Frontpage but I am very prompt about answering emails. Also, orders are normally shipped out within one to two days of the order being received. There have been times when I did not have enough cores and there was some wait, but now I have a good amount of stock.

Enjoy your new steering!

Bryan

Let me know if you're interested in any more cores. I think I have two genuine Nissan center links.
