lol... These things actually act pretty well at or around 100..... not ment to go fast though... although last month somone was trying to break in to my house ... my wife called me scared out of her mind... I would have made it home faster if I could have broken 100... I didnt even care about cops at that point... But it was like midnight.. not to much traffic at that time...

My 4 banger doesn't feel like it has anything left at 95. It was a bit of a struggle to even get it going that fast. I guess I could have dropped it into 4th gear.

I have to see where any vehicle I have tops out at least once. I swear I'll never do it again.

I don't know why you would want to race anyone in one of these trucks. Its the slowest truck I've ever driven in my life and at high speeds 80+ feels like its going to blowup. Its a great dependable truck but not for that. I just don't see the point. Buy something worthwhile to race.

I think a 4cyl S-10 would get the 'slowest truck ever' award, haha. That truck was just plain sad when I hit the gas.

lame

I hate people who complain about speeding. Granted it's unsafe some times.
It is not the number one cause of anything but "fun!"
Stop being chickensh&ts!

There are simply people who should not be driving, most of them I would be willing to bet are NOT in a Frontier.
They cause most of the problems we see and usually because they are moving at half the speed or less.
I think people that bit*h about speeders are just looking to place blame for bad driving they see but can not explain.

Over 41,000 people died on U.S. highways last year; 112 per day. Slow speeds didn't do the killing, but I do agree that bad driving is at the core. Drunkeness, no seatbelts, tailgating, passing at stupid places, distractions .... and excessive speed (it's a matter of physics) are to blame. I agree too that people like us on this forum who love vehicles and have a thourough knowledge of their engineering and dyamics are more likely to be safe.

It's weird that if 112 people died each day in U.S. plane crashes, it'd be front page news, but because of the random and widespread nature of highway deaths, nobody much cares about it or is concerned enough to figure that this might be their last day alive. I've been licensed for 35 years and have been blessed with a safe driving record throughout, but I'm still scared witless several times a week from the idiocy I see on the roads. I'd rather my name not appear in the obituaries quite yet.
