I don't think im ever going to go faster than 100 mph...especially with these gas prices...Going a 100 will get me like 10 mpg

its not that bad actually. I think even 110 mph I was getting 11.

off topic... whats the limiter on the 2nd gens? now back on topic 3 grand for a reflash, i think atleast 600-700 most, 3 grand wouldn't be worth it IMO.

with 3 grand you could buy parts for the engine to make up for the governor.

2nd gens top out around 110 but its not as hard of a jerk when you reach top end!

There is no jerk. It just closes the throttle a bit. It...just....stops accelerating. Kinda cool actually.

you should deff drive safely on the roads. but anotherr fix is putting a Chevy 350/6speed tranny in your fronty. Like i did mine. its a lot of work tho.
