Irrelevant... Something bad always happens when you least expect it. The speed limits are irrelevant. I don't understand the need of pushing your vehicles speed beyond reasonably safe speeds. UNLESS IT'S IN THE DIRT! YEAH!!!!!!! i'M A HYPOCRITE! Oh well... But seriously irrelevant.
Oh and arnold schwarzenegger does suck!

Let me clarify something for you!!!! I was at the track guys! I have a clean driving record.. I dont think I have gone over 75-80 on the freeway with this truck. I just wanted to know how to disable the damn thing..

There is no way you hit the speed limiter on a 1/4 mile track with your truck, since you were obviously not road-coursing it. Period. Been there, done that, have the slips from the drag strip. Best you got was around 75mph trap speed. Even if you had the SC it would have only be a few ticks faster. I've never clocked it but I wouldn't be surprised if it took nearly a mile to accelerate up to 100.
If anyone wants to cry and whine about speeding, try driving the speed limit on the atchafalaya swamp freeway (better known as I-10) heading into Louisiana. If you aren't cruising at least 80 then you will be pushed off the road. I remember cruising through there with traffic at 90+ more than a few times. There are no shoulders, no breakdown lanes, no exits for 20 miles, and it's all one long, continuous bridge.

good to know you were on the track, JET can do it but i hear you have to send then your ecu so that means a few days w/o a truck, if you want it off then i say go for it and have it taken off then show that kota whos boss.

Jet is the only programmer of sorts I have found that can disable the governor, this is going to run you almost 3 grand for everything(Hardware and Software) from the prices I've been seeing.
You will also have a lifeless truck for the duration the ecu is out because you have to send it in to Jet
