I would go back tell him those are the correct UCA's and that they overcharged you. Tell them you called over shops in town and go a quote on alignments and they all gave you a quote of xx didnt matter how long it took them. Also, charging you for a camber bolt that they broke. Hell no, tell them that was a brand new one from nissan and they will uncharge you for that amount + buy you another one and install it. Stand your ground. They are bullcrapping you out of it and making it look like you know nothing about your truck. Go in there with confidence that you know what your doing and they dont. if they have a manager or a higher up talk to them. Was it a place like firestone or something or just a family owned shop?

Also, about that bolt....no way in hell they broke that bolt unless they did some off the wall crazy stunt. ask them how to break a grade 8 bolt. once they say its pretty impossible then say how did you break mine? Im pissed and it didnt even happen to me. lol

you should call greg at PRG and get his $.02 The price seems ridiculous, but the real question is alignment.

yeah. the fact that they didnt even get the thing done is f***** up! lol you pay for the job that is quoted in the computer. it is illegal for them to charge you more just because they are retarded!! They should pay you at this point... I had a vw that I took in to get belts done(had to pull the pullys to do this) quoted in the computer at a 30 min job..well it took the tard about 4 hrs.. they tried to charge me for the time. First I told them to go get Fu#ked... then I told them I would call the better business bureau... I didnt pay a dime...

i know what your problem is

either A you have bad lower BJs

or B, the holes in the frame where the chamber bolts go threw are ripped and stretched

mine right now are "tore" on my rear drivers side not allowing for a perfect alignment

its no so much that the bracket for the UCA is cracked and its a safety hazzard, its more of the oval hole is ground and ripped out more allowing more movement of the chamber bolt than what it the eccentric discs can allow

UCA Mount Question

wow, we charge 69.95 for any alignment at any length of time. Unless eccentric bolts need to be added for the 2nd gens. Then the customer just pays for the parts and the alignment fee. Go raise hell and get your money back, if you can't do it bring a friend that can.

Thats some mest up ****. Tell him to buy you a new bolt set, redeem your money, and you're taking your business somewhere else. I do know that the 1st gens are harder to align with the torsion bars and everything. Especially if you have them cranked all the way. Thats also a possibility
