general lift questions

1 do i need longer shocks in the front? 2 what shocks have you had better experience with? was considering bilsteins, rancho 5000 or 9000 3 what backspacing do we need to run? 4 should bumpstops be upgraded/ which? thats all for now, just trying to get everything ligned up befor i spend the $. i am doing a front 2 inch crank and a rear 1.5 inch shackle, the AALs are too big to compensate the front. then some smaller rims and bigger tires. thanks guys

for a 2" lift you dont really need new shocks, its never going to hurt, but you dont HAVE to have them. i would say yes replace them basically anything name brand is nice compared to stock you really cant go wrong.

as for backspacing just whatever wheel fits your truck is fine, take it to a tire shop like tire factory or les schwab or something find out what wheels fit, or go online to tirerack or whatnot.

bump stops, again that small of lift, no big deal, but its always good to replace them. but not required.
