So I just got a 40 series flowmaster installed and I am happy with the sound I just expected it to be louder than it is. I was wondering if anyone experitenced this too or if I need to just break it in?? Thanks

After it breaks in and it is still not loud enough you might try some large exhaust tips. I have dual 18" tips and they act like megaphones.

It takes about 500 miles or so for it to break in from my experience. I have the same muffler...just remember it's not a V8.

i don't think the FM have the fiberslike the MF mufflers. nothing should change since there is nothing burnning out. did you leave the res behinds the muffler in? I did and that thing makes it pretty quiet. no dron and its not to loud
