Nice, that's about how mine sounds as well. I don't have the gurgling when you let off the gas, but pretty much the same pitch and sound otherwise. Sounds nice when driving too, which is a bit different sound than just revving.

hate to say it but i dont like it, i dont like any exhaust on this truck. the motor just doesnt appeal to me for sound. ive tried borla, and magnaflow, open headers, straight pipe with nothihg but glass packs. headers to glass packs to about 4" of piping and nothing else. stock muffler drilled full of holes lol i just dont like the sound of this motor.

and now i know i dont like flowmaster either. i had a stock sounding exhaust put on and thats what im running now, which is fine with me.

i do have one more im going to try, im going to run a high flow cat with a aero muffler. hopfully i get some good sound out of it, ive never heard a bad sounding aero on any car. ricers/imports/domestics anything. they have always sounded very deep and throaty and sound great. im praying they work for my fronty lol. if it still sounds like crap ill throw on a aero resignator and call it good. id rather live with no sound that a crapy sound.

instead of running a pipe on out to the back of the truck i had a tube of the back of the muffler turned straight down infront of the axle!

Okay and what does that do other than screw up your emissions tests and give off a gurgle sound? Not sure if you were responding to my "please explain" question, dunno much about that stuff, so...

that way i dont rip it of while offroading. i have dented my rear quarter panel and almost ripped of my exhaust because it was ran out the back so i tucked it up under the truck for saff keeping!

yeah i have pinched mine closed before on a rock when it was in the stock location, (hanging low from the body and just kinda stick out there flat.. now i have it out the back but it goes up, closer to the bed and stays closer to the body, and then bends down out the side, not the best, but far better than how a stock one is.

yea, i love my flowmaster. the sounds gets better with time. i have had mine for about 6 months and it sounds great. i do get the gurgling sound as well.

i also put a slight downturn on the pipe and ended it just past the rear axle.. i like the set up.
