the TC kits don't come with coil over you need spend another grand on those. I know a couple 1st gen that priced it out and went with the SLR stage 5

Pick a company, you'll be happy either way, as they are both very comparable products.

are Spencers lower arms uni ball or ball joint? Doesn't Spencer use 300m torsion bars in the first gen stuff?

I'm not sure what fenders the total chaos guys are using but I don't much care for the look for them. I realize that you're not going to get anything bigger than 32" tires with the stock wheel wells but 32s are fine with me. I dunno how high you could get with the SLR stuff, but the 5" Chaos lift is one of the highest I've seen for our truck. The only other one I've seen was somewhere around 10 - 11" or somewhere around that, but it wasn't the most functional lift given it had these torsion bar extension brackets that looks rather rock & tree friendly. Someone might have a link to them, have no idea on the cost.

With minimal parts and cost you can squeeze another 2+ inches doing a simple torsion bar crank in the front and some shackles / spacers / add a leaf in the rear. Or you can go with a kit from www.gorancho.com who makes a 2 1/2 lift that will go up to 3", www.calmini.com also makes a 3" suspension lift.

The other alternative is to get a BL as well, which you can get for our trucks for ~$250, they also go up to 3". So combined you can get about 6" which is what I did. If i had it all over to do again, I'd probably do the same thing

Course you could SAS, then that might open up more doorways too...
