Here is what they say on the Marvel Mystery Oil FAQ:

Can MMO be used with synthetic motor oils?
Yes, MMO is compatible with synthetic, semi-synthetic blends and regular types of motor oils.

Here is the last log entry prior to adding MMO:

6/12/08 231.3 miles, 15.807 gallons (87) 14.63 MPG - this tank did include some trailer towing, several loads from Lowes, and some 4x4 driving.

MMO Added to oil and Gas:
Initial reaction, truck is definitly more peppy and has slighlty differant tone. This is a surprise, I did not expect to notice any immediate change.
Here is the log entry after adding MMO:

6/14/08 190.0 miles, 10.615 gallons (87) 17.9 MPG - this tank was split between highway and city driving and a little bit of 4x4 time. Truck runnning great.

Wasn't the truck running great before?

yea, ran great before, still runs great - and not yet convinced that a change has occured in MPG. This tank was more highway driving, the other was more city so both results are within the "normal range". But I will say it feels a lot more like when I run the high test then the regular, and I am running regular.

6/16/08 23.6 miles, 12.227 gallons (87) 19.02 MPG - This was almost exclusively highway driving at about 80 MPH, plus a little bit of to and from highway. By far the best tank of gas I've ever had, but still not really out of the normal range for this truck.

Tomorrow my truck goes in the shop for the FABTECH install, so this is the last tank that will be comparable. Will keep using product, at least until next oil change and will be interesting to see how the lift affects the MPG.

So I guess my conclusion (for this limited test) is that the MMO may have helped a little, but certainly did not hurt any, and for $3.99 /quart it is a much cheaper option then the Ethos.
