Unless you plan on getting into drag racing, its really not worth your time or money.

I sure hope i wouldn't be running E85 in my 88 monte ss drag car. E85 == corn fuel, and its usually $1 cheaper

well maybe in the states that produce tons of corn, Last time i was in indiana 7 months ago E85 was $1.65 at this one station

I am sorry, I thought that maybe in the last year someone might have come up with something. But since you have answered my prayers with your words and pearls of wisdom. I will then burn my 2000.

I have an 05... I think it will run on it, but it will suck.
Long story short.... I was driving through Indiana or something one time and filled up at about 3A... I didn't notice that I was pumping 85 until I hung the handle back up.... my truck ran... very crappy.. but it ran... I averaged about 8mpg on it... the tank was about 3/4 empty when I topped off w/ 85... I was getting a bit over 20 prior to that... took me about 4-5 tanks before I got back up to my normal mileage... I probably did some long term damage to it... but that was about 40K miles ago and no major issues... I average around 17 now... but its because of lift and tires... and I rarely drive w/ the camper top on... which helps...
.. Why you want to run 85 anyway..?

E85 in my area is over a dollar cheaper. And hey if I can save 80-100 bucks a month it's worth looking into.
