Just an update.......

I recently lost my job and the 1835cc engine in my bug is acting up.
So this means that until Im working again the DIY is on hold.

Its all gonna go in the truck , just not as soon as I would have hoped.

Its all installed except the header, thats next.
Interior sound is MINIMAL.
Throttle response is WAY up!
Time and a full tank of gas will tell HP and MPG gains.
I reset the ECU after install aswell.

Alright heres the cost breakdown for my custom 2.5" header back exhaust
Magnaflow ss muffler = $42
SS High flow cat = $41
Instal with mandrel bends , hangers, and O2 sensor bung = $245
Total for custom exhaust = $328
Thats dirt in my book especially when I get a high flow cat, choose my own Muffler and have full control of how the bends are going down and hangers.
Pics to come, but for now there in my user gallery.

Im pleased thus far.
Thanx go to ...
Maximum Automotive for there once again stellar welds and install
If your ever in the area heres there digits.
