I don't know why more people don't follow this route for exhausts. Most seem set on getting a prefabbed one at some crazy prices. Piecing one together may not look as nice and shiny with nice bends, but you save a ton of money.

I hear that.
I buy , sell and work on VW's, Audi's and Subaru's as a 2nd job and have had alot of catback systems built by my local exhaust shop done for less than $200 including muffler.
There cheaper, support local economy and are custom.
SHiny ! Who makes a habit of crawling around on the ground just to see your shiny exhaust, LOL?

Header and Cat shipped out today.
I have to finish some repairs on my Show bug so I can use it as my daily while Im doing the install.
Oh Yeah , my bug is getting "new to me" Factory Air cooled Recaro seats.
They cost a pretty penny and are super hard to find and rare , but man will they be nice.
Can you say LEATHER.
LOL

Here we go.
These images will probably expire but heres what all our components look like

Magnaflow

Cat

Pacesetter

So basically at this point for all our components were into it $260

Dang! I sure wish the headers for the 3.3L weren't so expensive...

It's kind of a BS deal really..You pay almost 500 bucks for the headers alone, and then you have to purchase a whole crap-load of extra parts in order to install the darn things....For that amount of money I'll stick with the stock manifold...

Your set up is gonna sound awesome I bet...Even though its a 4 banger...I can't wait to see how its gonna look and sound!!!! Keep us posted!
