Then maybe spray the VHT on the inside of the orange lens. It'll probably show more orange than if it were painted on the outside, but at least it'll appear tinted.

Hm... That's a good idea. I might try that if nothing else seems like a good idea.
Do you think misting a few layers of the spray paint on there would ruin it/not look good/not let light shine through?
