Did you do the lower opening as well? I did both which adds protection from the radiator taking a hit

I've been wanting to do that. Did you just pick up some mesh from the hardware store?

Nope checked everywhere for mesh and no one had it so I went to lowes and bout 2 12x24 sheets of expanded metal and went from there!! let me know if you want info on how I exactly did it!
