Biggest tires on a Desert Runner?

I have an 04 2wd king cab Desert Runner. It's currently stock height. I've been told I can put 31x10.50's on there with no lift. If I do the shackles in the back and crank the torsion bars about an inch do you think I can put alittle bigger tire on there?

i have a 03 with 285 60 18 on it, i had to remove the front mudflaps and trim out some guts. I dont think i would go any bigger than that, even with an inch of lift, but thats just me.

you still want to use your suspentioin right? Its not always about the biggest tire! but how you are going to use your truck and what tire will work with the suspention.

I think 31's are about the most your going to get with a simple lift, possibly 32. You'll probably have to loose your front mud flaps as well

with shackles and a tbar lift i think 32x10.50 would be the biggest.

I'm going to do shackles and t-bar and i'm considering going with 31" BFG A/T just to be safe and 32" are a lot more per tire than 31"s and right now i'm running 235s so its going to be a massive upgrade.

I'm running 32x11.50 BFG AT's with a three inch body lift and an add-a-leaf in the rear with no problems. With shackles and a t-bar crank I'm not sure I would go that big.

Well I have the front mud flap off right now and the local tire guy said they would fit find with that much lift but i'm also a little worried. Did you order yours online or from a local tire guy?
