anyone else have low fuel light on with more then enough gas?



Besides my brake lines blowing out after picking this 99 frontier up ive been more then happy with my third nissan, anyone have any idea what i should do to take care of this?

I know my father's 98 started having issues with the entire gauge cluster as a whole (including his fuel gauge.)

From what I recall it was an easy fix by our local mechanic. Don't quote me though.

Fill it up - doesn't cost any more to run on the 1st half tank than to run on 2nd half tank.

Do you have any rust on top of the tank? Might be worth a look, bad connections create odd problems.

it's not pretty under the truck New England destroys vehicles, when I was under the truck trying to unfreeze the ebrakes I noticed some rust and some sort of black goo on the tank looks like it was an attempt to stop a bad rust spot from spreading, I'm going to snap a picture tonight

some years had fuel tank recalls do to rust - might be worth checking out
