When I first got the truck, it was only high 16's. 2 weeks ago, I got 19.1 on the hwy, in town low 18's, so overall it has helped.

Well I also changed the airfilter, spark plugs, fuel filter and cleand the MAF, so I have a little $$$$ into it, but it will pay for itself.

Its on the passenger side right behind the cab area, bolted to the frame. Follow the fuel line and you'll see it. It has a metal shield around it, but do a "Search" for this job, there are several write-ups on it.

You can clean the MAF w/ some MAF cleaner from your local autoparts store. When removing the airbox lid, disconnect the wiring harness to the MAF, do not try to remove the MAF from the lid itself, just stick the spray hose that comes w/ the MAF cleaner down there and coat it pretty good, the stuff dries instantly, I doused mine pretty good.

No problem Redbeard82, glad I can help.

Yeah I stuck w/ a paperfilter too, they pretty much catch just as much.

Hey Demondrive, did you do the T-Bar adjustment yet to help level out the front of the truck? Just another free mod, and is pretty easy to do. There is also a write-up on that as well.

I think it is a 1.25" plug for the smaller one... I left the spongy stuff in there.. Didnt know If it would be good or bad to remove.. Figured it would soak up any water that got in there.. Who thinks I should take it out? I left the front tube going into the fender so I didnt need to move the air temp sensor but trimmed the end of the tube. I also left the side tube that went into the fender resinator.. But I removed the resonator its self.. 30 min job.. SIDE NOTE: Carefull removing the snaps under the fender.. they tend to break.. Good nws is you can get them from your local auto parts shop..
Use CRC MAF sensor cleaner.. get it at your local shop.. unscrew the sensor at the top and carfully remove it from the tube.. spray it off from all directions, Let it dry(10 sec) re-install. wipe the screen off if it is dirty..Also If you use a oiled filter, It is good to clean the mafabout a day after filter cleaning and oiling.. Sometimes the oil can suck into the MAF and cause a rough Idle..
