Say, bro, what kind of modification would you think is necessary to fit a 240sx crank pulley to our trucks. My '00 frontier needs the crank pulley replaced, and I might as well put a 240sx pulley in there if it would help anything and the gains outweigh the time it takes to modify it.

Holy Crap..
Are you kidding me 55hp increase?!
You can't be serious...

Mods DON'T stack HP like that.
You Are NOT getting 25hp out of exhaust alone.
SLR had real world HP numbers on their website a while ago.
With performance cams, headers, cat-back exhaust, air intake and ported throttle body his gain was around 20-25hp. And the investment was more than $1200.
But that 20-25hp is on our anemic 170HP 3.3 motor. That's pretty big.

Unless you slap on a turbo or a supercharger you are NOT getting an additional 55hp out of our motors..

my K&N came with a dyno sheet from a frontier they tested...vg33e...5hp max...exhaust the nismo claims right around 3.7ftlbs and i think 5hp or so not much more, to get hp out of these trucks you need to let them breath much more better, cams and head porting im sure would be like night and day with these engines, id say to keep it simple to the basic mods, more air=more fuel=more hp, intake, cat-back and a good tune up if its time for one im sure ull notice a differance...if not and you have cash to blow id say hell with it and take a stroll down to your local nissan dealer and order a titan engine up and call it a day.

There's also a KA24DE stroker kit that takes the displacement up to like 2.7L and is supposed to bring your power numbers up to the 200 ball park. thats over 2g's though...

If you want better gains without working on the internals, get a Weapon-R intake (theres a few sellers on eBay), exhaust, and for 98-2000 you guys don't have that extra sensor on the header so you've got the Pace Setter after market one available.

I too plan on doing the e-fan mod sometime soon, preferably before christmas break.

I have a truck. It gets me from A to B. Why I spend so much money changing it, I will never know. Is there a cure for this disease? I have no idea what I would be using all my money for if there was a cure.
