Thanks all who replied. I've checked everything I could and still haven't found anything wrong yet. The buzzing is a fuel pump relay under the dash.(If my dash was in) I know this b/c if I remove it and turn on the key I don't have fuel pressure, If I put it in I do. (I have a pressure gauge directly connected to the fuel line going into the rail). The check engine light will come on if the ECM is connected, It won't if it's not. The auto scanner will come on if it's plugged into the ODB plug but will not read the ECM. The scanner is good, I checked it with two other trucks. I do not have fire at the plugs, (pulled different plugs to test) backprobed the distributor and have current there. Haven't checked the coil yet so I'm not positive it works either. I do smell gas when turning it over, though I know that doesn't mean the injectors are working. I still think it's an electrical problem, not a fuel issue. I still think that the ECM is partially to blame, though I'm still trying to find one that will work on my truck. I am willing to try a used one but I will not buy a new ECM. If anyone can find one for my truck it is:
2000 CC 3.3l V6 Auto 4X4 Made 03/00
ECM# MECM-W788-A1-0224
I have looked at this for days and have not found anything. No rubs, breaks, cuts, nothing. Does anyone know where all the grounds are inside the cab and under the hood? There can't be that many. I have found a lot but I could have missed one or two. Thanks again for all your replies guys. (and gals!)
