2000 DR Height

I have been thinking of lifting my DR. But when I see other Fronty's they look smaller then mine. So my question is what is the normal height?

Thanks.

2wd's are lower than the 4wds... its always like that, over every auto manufacturer. theyve got beefier components and everything, so that they can withstand the abuse of off-road more. except for the DRs... arent they a 2wd on a 4wd platform?

I have a truck. It gets me from A to B. Why I spend so much money changing it, I will never know. Is there a cure for this disease? I have no idea what I would be using all my money for if there was a cure.

I have a 2000 desert runner and from what I understand the height and stance of it is how the 4x4 looked but I don't see that. You can raise it just a little to achieve that 4x4 look by just doing a single aal or shackles.

V6 first gens are 4x2's. 4-bangers are just 2wd trucks. And then you have the V6 4x4's.

That may be the case with the the non crew cab models, can't remember, but on the Crew cab models they are the same height regardless if 4x4 or 4x2. The only difference there is tire size. Now the 4bangers sat lower than the v6 models I believe, and they didn't offer 4 bangers in the CC models. So whether 4x2 KC V6 models were the same height as the 4 bangers I'm not sure...
