I have the same truck. Block the rear (Leaves are below on a 2wd), and crank the T bar in the front. I raised mine a bit, but in an hour, we can drop it back down oem, slam it 3", whatever.
I like lowered, I did lifted to be different (I have 2 lowered cars in the garage already)

I just realized the factory fog lights don't seem to be working either, and, those too go through the clockspring according to the service manual.
I'm going to change that first and see where I am.

Not to insult you, but you did twist thier on/off on the stalk separately from the headlights?! I know someone that didnt do that, and replaced bulbs to no avail.

yes, they're operated off the combination switch on steering column.
no response, bulbs are fine.

fixed
corroded wires on harness, under relay box in engine compartment.
