Question 1st GEn Stock HP numbers and Nismo Cat Back

My Dad is thinking on geeting into the group buy for the Nismo Cat-Back but he asked me a couple of questions I need help with.

1-What are the stock hoprsepower numbers and expected increases with the exhaust?

2- Will his 2001 CC Short bed accept the exhaust without problem?

Thanks in advance

You need to do the intake to get the real benefit out of an exhaust, and vice versa. I don't know the numbers off hand, but I run a Gibson exhaust and just replace the filter with a K&N. Difference to me was much better throttle response, and better gas mileage. I average about 18 mph, whether its city or highway. Before I would get about 16 mpg. I've had it about a year now. 1999 SE V6 4X4, 4.6 GR.
