04 tweeter wiring question
I posted this in the audio section also.I just installed a dn unit.In the process
of installing component speakers in the front doors.Where does the input wires split from the radio to the speakers/tweeters? Or do I have to run new wires from crossovers to tweeters?Any input would help..thank you.

The wires don't split, at least not in a king cab. There are wires right from the radio going to the tweeters. When I did my tweeters I conected to the tweeter wires right behind the radio. I have the crossovers under the drivers seat.

I figured the radio had a built in crossover.I'm gonna pull new wires from the
door to the tweeter since I already installed the radio.I'll just leave the new crossover in the door.Thank you very much for clearing up my head.

The factory tweeter has a resistor on it eliminating the need for a crossover.
