Seals on PRG UCA

The engineer that I have been working with to get my PRG UCA legally registered on my truck wants seals or boots installed on the Heim Joints and Uniballs.
I used generic boots from a steering rack that had the right dimensions to seal off the Uniballs and seals from Seals-it to seal up the Heim Joints

Not bad... maybe this could fix some of the issues people are having with them.

Well it might keep some of the crap out .The boots on the heim joints will keep everything out and have been told of some heim joints the speedway boys use that pretty much dont wear out . They will be the next choice.
I am still tinkering with the boots on the Uniballs to see what is commecially available that may work better. The Uniball seals just sit on the tube mount for the Uniball but arent tight on it.
Still a work in progress but hopefully the engineer will be happy with them.

I jsut got a set of hemis with those boots for my Z. Hope it keeps them good for longer. I hate replacing joints all the time. These are not race cars/trucks... and I do not have the time or the crew to constantly change out suspension links.

My PRG uniball joints collect dirt which cause a loud squeaking. They are rattling around and I have not been able to get a replacement from PRG.
All I can do is put the stock UCA back on.

Bringing this one back. I am getting ready to install my Total Chaos UCA, and would like to try to seal up the Uniballs.

Anyone work this idea more. Here are some ebay parts that might work.
