Yes, it would be better if you had a back seat though.

Do I need new leaf springs? What do you think...

leaf.jpg

Poor things are flat, almost "W shaped. Im a little up in the air between Greg or Alcan for these, but I think I'll be ordering a set from Greg since he has such great CS. Now where can I find some stock lenght shackles (I lost mine ). Anybody have some for sale?

oh yeah, it looks like the overload spring is the only thing holding it up. As for shackles, I threw mine away for some reason.

How is your bedside paint and under the bed holding up with the exhaust pipe like that? I think i might need to do that due to the shackle clearence.

Yeah I attempted to install a gibson exhaust from a CC to my KC. Apparantly there is enough difference that the 90 degree bend in the exhaust had it dump right into the shackle, so we just cut it off. I have noticed no ill effects on the paint, ect by doing this. Eventually I'll get a guy to install a tip of some sort to clean it up a bit.

thanks! you can get them made specifically for however much lift you need. 3.5" of lift is the 1st and only pack he had and was going to use for himself but it sounded about right for what i needed.

Just got off the phone w/ Greg and I'm on the list for a set of these once the shipment arrives in a couple of weeks. Sounds like it will include the longer/thicker Titan U-bolts and all the bushings. I can't wait as my poor stock ones are toast. I will buy a set of stock shackles from courtesyparts.com for about $40.

Sweet... how much lift are you going with?

Yeah you'll get new longer ubolts, nuts, and bushings along with the springs. I had to cut the ubolts down because they were too long. Not a big deal but you wont be able to torque them down unless you have a very long socket.

why do you want stock shackles anyway?

I only have the radflo 2.5" lift up front. So I just want the 3 inches that the replacement leafsprings will give me on stock shackles. The 3" leafs will basically replace my 3" AC shackles. If I kept the 3" shackles the truck's butt would be up in the air
