PRG/Deaver 10 pack!!!

PRG strikes again. I just installed my PRG 10 pack last night. I've been waiting for almost a year for him to finish and it was worth the wait. My stock rear springs were beat to death so the ride was really suffering on and offroad. My specific pack is for 3.5" of lift without the shackle lift, but the shackles is recommended to be used with this pack and can add an additional 2" of lift. PRG can have them built anyway you like though. I think he said he has like 24 more packs in stock right now. A buddy at a VW dealership let me use the service department to install. It took me and him about an hour and a half to install with the shops lift and proper tools. It is defitnly possible to install them at your house. Install was very easy and the only modification we had to make was to cut the ubolts down so the socket could properly torque the bolts.

The ride is very similar to stock ride and match perfectly with my rear saw shocks. It feels alot more stable on and offroad now and doesnt feel like it bounces soo much either. The rear is actually about an inch higher then my front for now untill i get the cst spindle. You wont need new brake lines, the shock limits travel to give about an inch of slack in the brake lines and abs lines. You will need new Ubolts. I defitnly recommend this to anyone that likes to drive a little hard and wants to maintain a stock like ride without paying an arm and a leg for bedcage, bypass shocks, and SUA conversion. Call PRG for pricing

Damn you 2nd Gens..get all the cool stuff.

They been off-road yet? I know you said the ride is similar to stock now, not as bouncy..but I figured that was on the highway.

this pack was supposed to go on his frontier so i guess im the guinea pig. I just talked to him a few minutes ago to order the spindle and he said has 24 packs on order and they should be there in a few days.

Yeah i actually went on a little offroad trip last night. All i can say is that it feels like a brand new truck again. Now i drive a little fast once i get on the dirt so i can defintly say its much more stable feeling. The rear doesnt drift and bounce as much anymore. It doesnt feel like the shocks bottom out on every bump either. With the right tire pressure the ride is smooth at low and high speeds(50mph+). Where as with the old springs, low speeds where really harsh offroad. I was with a lady last night so i wasent too hard on it but I'll let you know if i can get back to the dirt tonight.

lol... ya that worked out pretty good too. An eventfull ride offroad usually gets them all hot and bothered. And i didnt even have to pull the old trick "well looks like we're stuck... what are we gonna do while we wait to get pulled out? its gonna take my buddy atleast an hour." see 4x2 has its own advantages too.
