Woohoo more bits 4 me

Scored well tonight. Got a factory D40 Alloy BullBar for $355 off ebay. It comes from a dealer down in Vic. Apparenlty has a few minor scrathes on one side.List price is $1785 apparently so getting it for $355 is a steal no matter how many minor scrathes need to be polished out.
Looks like the Bed Extender is also in the country so hopefully will arrive in the next few days.
Boy am I gunna be busy when the truck turns up in Jan

Good on ya......I saw the 2 bars they had for auction....I wouldn't mind getting the steel one , but wasn't sure how bad the damage was??...then i forgot about them and saw that it had ended....damn
Don't know about the alloy one .....dont like it (hope you can take criticism..lol)
but i think you dont have to butcher anything to install it ,it just fits over the existing bumper.

Does it come with all the lights??

well must admit wasnt too keen on the look either but then a nudge bar is double the price so that was a winner lol. I only want somewhere to bolt some lights and hang the UHF antenna
It comes with the indicator/park lights which wont be staying lol. Everything else is just for show
http://pydc.gallery.netspace.net.au/album01/PICT0004

This is a pic of the actual bar
Only bad side it the existing plastic bar has to be cut so will be looking for a second bar to cut up so I dont cut my original

crap how do you get pics inserted ?

damm thing doesnt like album type pics they appear to have to be open web page pics
bugga that means I have to get the web page running again sheesh

Oh ....I didn't think you needed to cut anything to fit them.

Inserting pics is easy
hit post reply or go advance on quick reply
scroll down to manage attachments...clicky
and click browse....find a pic and select
then press upload
once it uploads ...can take a few seconds
click on submit reply down the bottom.

I cant understand what Nissan were thinking where you have to cut a perfectly good front bar in half to fit a "stronger" bar

I dont like the look of the Alloy bar, it looks like a back-yard-slap-together-job with the rivited plates on the sides. But hey, at that price I wouldnt complain.

Well ordered yet more bits today
Found a dealer in Vic thats even cheaper than the Redcliffe dealer. First the BullBar for $355 off Ebay some $1400 less than retail .Have ordered Tub Liner($250) , Tonneau($29 , Towbar($250) and all for at least half the price quoted by my local dealer.Ordering Door Protector Moulds($39.90 US per side plus shipping) and Bed Rail Caps($78.90 US plus shipping) from CourtessyNissan in the US .All up parts that I had budgeted for came to near $5000 will be shipped to my door either from Aus or the US for just on $2000. It certainly does pay to shop around.Am even thinking just for giggles might order the Nismo Stickers and rear Frontier Badge to keep them guessing lol. The Black Chrome Nissan badge might fit in nicely on the TailGate .
Now to whats left to get. Wheels , next time I go oversaes . New Sports Bar from Alloy.net.au in Sydney once the truck arrives so the new bar fits the old mounts prefectly.3rd Brake LED Light to me mounted in the back of the bar
Bed Extender Genuine from Nissan US already arrived $260 US shipped. Not bad when list price is $269 US before shipping
Wish List
Maybe some Hella Black magic driving Lights
New Tires ( BF Goodrich 265/70/16 AT )once the old ones wear out
In Dash SatNav/DVD/TV Sterio
I think thats it lol
