Tonneau cost

Hey can any of you Aussies tell me how much the Tonneau cover costs in Australia http://www.nissan.com.au/navaradual0...neauCover-Soft

They don't have that type here so I am asking a NZ dealer to get one in for me and want to compare his cost with the real one (+ shipping)

Also the Sports bar which was in the picture but not on the accessory list.

If anyone knows or could contact a local dealer for me I would appreciate it

The sports bar comes standard on the ST-X and you can get them on E- bay if you want.

amurphy........are you going to buy this truck piece by piece? I think it would be cheaper buying the whole thing.

Well I'm trying to buy one but the dealers don't seem to want to sell

The options (accessories) in NZ are crap so I'm trying to get the dealers to do more than sit on their butt all day and get working for their money.

It just seems "Oh so hard" for the dealer to go out of the ordinary and get some decent options - even changing the stereo seemed like a big deal

Still I suppose we just don't have the market to demand more from Nissan (NZ)

I hope to have a truck before Christmas

I had the same trouble here had to just about sell it to myself. They wouldnt return phone calls, ended up asking them "do you want to sell me a car or what?" offered them a price 2 days later and 4 phone calls they agreed???
Bloody Nissan if it werent such a nice truck i would have given up.

Any idea how much the sports bar costs ?

They want to charge me $1009.00 for the Tonneau and $1520.00 (NZD)
for the sports bar, thats a pretty huge freight cost eh ?

Wow mate I now N.Z. dollars arent worth much but **** they must be about 35cents to the ausie dollar.
Boody hell they're just ripping you.
I couldnt imagine the frieght on the tonneau being too much.
Allthough there arent any at the moment i have seen some sports bars selling for as little as $100 on E- bay and you could try Big Bugga he was offering to give one away for the price of the frieght.

yup same as the picc in the link
I do like the bar, but I have a canopy and the bar had to come off to fit it so now it is just a spare part laying about.
