Hey Tommo finally got the rear of my truck jacked up to check the break lines.
Ive got the same problem the brake hoses are pulling tight and rear wheels still not off the ground.
Ill see if ARB have longer hoses or find someone to make them up......phoned Nissan and they only have standard.
The ABS cable can be unhooked from the mounts for now until i can do something more permanent........have a brother in law auto electrician......damn that's another favour i will owe him.

Goodo mate let me know about the hoses.
Yeh the ABS lines are ok when unhooked from those fixed gromet type mounts, so I was thinking to make some loops for them to pass through and put some rubber hose around the ABS line so they don't chaff on the loop. (Like what they do with front brake lines on motorbikes). If you lengthen the line too far it may snag on something when the suspension is compressed?
hahaha get the plunger out for the brother outlaw's dunny mate. I thought you'd be into Portaloo's now after Kenny's movie!

I can't think of the name of the movie, but it's about a plumber named Kenny operating a portaloo business. Sposed to be pretty funny!

There ya go...........and now ya got a good excuse to go up to Harvey Bay mate.
http://www.brakehose.com.au/

Whats the angle of the drive shaft like now you have got the springs???
Wish the diff was tilted up wards like most 4X4's......I have a bit of oil residue around the front of the diff.....hope its not leaking......its dry to touch and could be left over from one of my rust proofing frenzies.....i dont know will keep an eye on it.

Is there a way to tilt the diff up??

Got the extended brake hoses fitted to day cost $88 for the pair ( fitted them myself).
Mobile brake hoses came and custom made them to the right length....80mm longer suited mine. Jacked it up to see........plenty of travel now....... just unhook the abs cable from the upper mount.

Yes mate you can get tapered shims that fit between the spring and diff.
