Glad to hear that others are getting better wear rates. Agree they are a reasonable road tyre, only had a few slides with them this year on the snow and ice. If anyone is interested the truck is quite controllable in a slide and the longish wheelbase certainly helps. ABS works pretty well too!
Haven't had a chance to get them in the dirt but I am not expecting too much. Before anyone asks, the alignment was checked at 4k as it was apparent then that the tyres were wearing fast. |

38 fr, 40 rr. Anything less and you rip the shoulders right off the tyres. FYI various brand of tyres on my last vehicle (S1 Discovery) lasted between 60 and 80 k. I haven't changed my driving style so you have to think the Conti's are s*&t.

I was looking at a D40 RX at the local dealer and instead of having Continentals they had.........Bridgestone Duellers made in Spain.........they were H/T 235/ 70 r 16 and were 30mm in diameter smaller..........made it about 20mm lower than with the continentals.........how do they get away with doing that????.....bastards
