Bullbars (Australia)

G'day

You fellows might have come across what I've been hunting for in your travels...

Chasing a single loop (arb safari styled) bull bar for a Navara D40 (Australia of course)

Or can anyone suggest an appropriate company to speak to re custom building what I'm after

I don't mind the arb/tjm bars - but I need to add some extra brackets etc for my tradey racks & H-frames so I might aswell get the style of bar that I like at the same time - esp with it being such a pain in the arse to strip the powercoat finish off and have it redone after the bar has been modified

Any/all suggestions welcome.

Cheers,
Brett

G-day mate welcome to the forum.
Im not sure, have you asked ARB or TJM if they will custom make one? Another one is Eastcoast Bull Bars, but there is quite a few other manufacturers of bull bars.
What part of the country are ya from?

arb&tjm won't do custom work "not worth it" nor will they supply a bar in primer rather then in powdercoat - and I've never had alot of success stripping powdercoat of a complex shape - most sandblasters won't even touch powdercoat

thanks for the welcome also

Only got my d40 at the start of feb, done about 7000km's now including a run up to noosa to play on north beach, freshwater track and double island point - wanted to see the cherry venture before they removed it....

Long way to drive to see a pile of rust on the beach? I saw it over 20 years ago and it still had its props on. Last October when I was driving by there wasn't much left. Don't tell me you went all the way up there and didn't go to Fraser Island???

They only have V6's or 4 cylinder petrol's in the states. All the UK Navaras are diesel and about 70% of the Australian Navaras. Us blokes who have the V6's just like being able to drive really fast and help support the oil companies...lol

actually didn't get a chance - we were lucky the new ute even arrived in time as it ran 4 weeks late and we got it the day we left 1 hour before we left

been to fraser about half a dozen times - not only that my missus had never seen a dirt road let alone sand so there was enough whinging from the handbrake.... on that trip

next time round will be a little differant

beautiful up around the everglades though - the old strangler figs etc

the cherry would have looked better if the vandels could stop trashing everything - who the hell tags a shipwreck on a deserted beach anyway!?

looks like a tjm bar for me - then off to the local tig'r to have it modded to suit....

single loop alloy bar with winch compatability seems to be a tall order!

....I'll order that on monday after the tint is on...then off to pick out a snorkel - anyones thought on tjm vs nissan vs arb?
