Todrick - you are correct sir, good point. Travel, esp. in the front, and banging off those buckets, seems to be problems. Seen a few folks on this site going to the Total Chaos UCA pkg. I'm waiting for this fall, I keep hearing about some of the big players developing stuff for Aug/Sep releases, and that's just one or two months. I just don't want to drop a grand or better and then have a ton of choices hit the market in the next 6 months.

Hi all,
ARB just e-mailed me a news-letter today and they say that they will have a suspension system available around mid Sept 06. It will give a 30mm lift to the front and a 40mm lift rear. Looks like I will have to wait for this and then get Total chaos uca, longer rear shackels and perhaps and front spacers. Hopefully the ARB suspension will give some extra articulation and the shackles and spacers more clearance.
What do you all think of this as an idea?

I got the 2.5 PRG lift and when we had it apart my off-road installer took a grinder to the coil spring bucket and grinded the lip back almost to where it was flush, sprayed it gloss black and I have had no banging after 1 week.

Hi Paul there are a few dealers close by that import ARB, ARB is quite the hit here in South Africa as far as the 4x4 community is concerned. As far as most 4x4ers are concerned all the best kit is made in OZ. As far as Total Chaos is concerned I will have to have that shipped myself.

Like how many times I use concened concerned concerened conc........ HeHe! must be record?

Oh by the way does anyone know what the term "Bakkie" describes?

Regards
Peter

Hi Rowdy thats correct, man your on the ball I thought it would take longer to get the correct answer.

Check your local Bmw and you will find that the 3 series is made in SA as is the Golf and the Corolla. We used to get the full range of Falcons here that were made in Oz but now only get the Territory. Oh we also get the Holden Commodore Ute and sedan only they have been re-badged here as Chevrolet Lumina. It needs to be said though that the Chevrolet brand here is not considered very good as those jerks are selling Dawoo cars badged as Chevrolet it might have been wiser to leave the Holden's as Holden's as most people actually know what Holden's are and anything made in Oz seems to be held in high regard here.

Regards
Peter

Hi guy,

It's sad but we also get them here in SA a lot of them are made here identical to the UK just badged as opels and man do they ever suck. I think they are a GM product! Hey just added one more pic of my Navara to my galley check it out all.

Regards
Peter
