So what's the verdict????? How does it look????

Same reason I gave it up, could'nt make a decent living. Whats the chance of two people across the world on the same forum having done the same thing in the past? Just weird.

Peter

I ended up puting a 40mm spacer in the front in mine and extra leaf in the back also raised the over loader a bit pased level gave about 60mm all up in the rear, Also found that when your in the bush the sway bar limits up and down travel a lot have to work out some kind of disconect. My TJM bar wieghs around 25 kilos and my hydraulic winch wieghs 30 kilos, The car only dropped 10mm with the stock coils.

Hey Big Zet!
Have you got a steel TJM? And a hydraulic winch as in electro-hydraulic? Not electro-mechanical?
I will get in touch with ARB to see how heavy the 'bar is.

Hi tommo, Its a steel bar and when they fit the bar they have to cut the lower half of the bumper off, not sure if ARB do the same. And the winch is a 10500 pound OX hydraulic which runs of your power steering pump and is operated with either a cordless remote or one with a cord.

Hi Thomo and Navara-au
What are TJM doing about a kit for the D40? Tjm is where I will be heading for a Kit for my D22. Had a TJM series 2000 and XGS shockies on my GQ patrol for 7 years not a problem and that included alot of off-road (Simpson desert crossing/Fraser etc). TJM gear is as good as ARB and Tough Dog, if not better. EFS is the new player, but I am hearing good stories about there kits. Stay away from Ranchos, heard some bad things , sorry our Yankie friends.
Thomo if you are about 20 minutes from Castle hill which suburb are you in?
I live in Westleigh just south of Hornsby. About 20 from castle Hill.
