[quote=Lon]What have you guys paid for the "10,000Km" service? Mine is going in next week. Ive only done 7,000, but when I spoke to the guys earlier in the week, they recomended 10,000 or 6 months whatever comes first. So its 6 months for me.[/quote

10k was only a minor service - drop the oil and filter and check that nothing has fallen off or leaked out. It's 65kms to the nissan dealer in Cooma so I have the logbook service done locally. It should be about $120 to have the dealer's 1st year apprentice do the service.

You'll be able to pull some great skids in the 4x2 I got mine to "chirp" yesterday by accident

well funny you should say that as when I took the Dealers Test truck for a drive it happened to chirp the tires on a regualr basis without me even trying to do it. And that was the deisel auto so the petrol manual should be way better. Good thing it has ABS otherwise the rear tires may have gone up in smoke at some stage hahahaha.And if we ever get our drag strip back again I will be a regular competitor ...
Hey do our trucks have similar features to the US trucks as far as the computer goes. Things like fuel consumption etc ?

you havent driven the V6?????....do your self a favour and take one for a test drive.
Our V6's look identical to the frontiers so you will be able to import the air intakes and exhaust systems and anything else you want.
As for fuel economy it all depends on how you drive them...........obviously your ganna use more fuel than the slow noisy diesel's.......but when you race them down the quarter mile........well you'll be back in the pits by the time there at the end of the strip mate

I don't reckon there is much funnier than lighting up the tyres on a slightly damp road in a 2 tonne td 4x4... except perhaps driving the thing sideways out of roundabouts on the throttle, and seeing the looks of horror on the faces of people in on coming cars...*

Rowds
* yes sometimes I'm bad...

yeah would love to drive one but there isnt any available in town to test drive. We only have 2 dealers and only one demonstrator at the moment and its a deisel auto so just gotta wait.
Cant wait to see the look on some of these ricer drivers faces when they get blown away by a 1860Kg truck lol

I have seen the look. It looks quite funny when a ricer pulls up beside you and then you pull away. The 6 speed manual makes it accelerate real quick. It does hurt on the fuel tank, when you do this. Had to tow a 1.8t portable lights to the bay yesterday. It seems the car will be quite thirsty when towing.
