Looking at your pics I would say it has raised a good 50mm in the rear and about 50 to 60mm in the front!
Its def 40mm at the front but at the rear??? i dont know because the springs i had on before were already alot higher than standard.
if you can measure yours and let me know what the difference is
Im 6'2" and the top of the blue tool box is at nipple height.
With the ladders on i cant get in any car parks under 2250mm

The guy here thats supposed to get me the front strut made up is starting to piss me off, but thats what happens when you use someone that grew up in Capetown.

Pwedta........you just have to put that reefa down and get cracking mate
Yeah when i think of those "Capetown guys" grrrrrrrr....
Yes i jump the gun.....If only i listen to you Pwedta.... but no i said she'll be right

Actually its only when you hit a bump hard with the front that you get any bounce and i can get struts later in the year when they release them.

At least we beat Tommo he's still dragging his tow bar on the bitumen

G-Day guys we have got to stop meeting like this people will start to talk

Hey peter sounds like alot of rooting around wouldnt it be better to wait till some struts come on the market? Spoke to the suspension bloke and he said when the new hiluxs came out he fabricated struts using prado's. Cost $400 each now he can get them for $135.

Hey tommo for the extra$$$ I cant see the advantage of the PRG's for an extra 16mm of lift (i used the measurements from coldfire's post)
Sure they would be better but if you go too high you will run into more problems alignments C.V jionts ect.. and i think you have to take them off to adjust them??

By the way for pure wank value its pretty cool to be the same height as the cruisers and patrols

Hi nav, I am going on a trail on the 10th Sept and need the lift to be able to do it. Will probably have to tow out a few jeeps and hilux's that get stuck too.
Regards
Peter
