Walker Ridge Wheelin' March 9th (Lake Cty)

So here's the Lake County Run. March 9th meeting place is Walker Ridge off Hwy 20 (at the intersection). Say 9:00 assuming that works for you all.

We'll start wheeling right away on some firebreaks that strattle the ridge then we'll wheel up from the reservoir wheel into Mendocino National Forest and make a loop back. There'll be rutted out firebreaks, some steep hillclimbs, a large pit you can roll your rig into if you don't straddle it right, some rocky wheelin' that requires 2nd gear low range, some fast paced pre-runner stuff, probably some snow in Mendo, etc.

It's basically the best this area has to offer...it's not the Sierra's but it's fun! And we know it real well. It would be a great opportunity to meet up with you norcal guys. Everyone's welcome. Stock tires won't make it if it's real muddy. Stock rigs will scrap if not lifted.

Ice house area is awesome too of course! I used to work on that District years ago. Needed to take a break from it but it would be interesting to see it all again someday soon...have fun on your run,
