Sat 9:30am - Sycamore camp
Sun 9:30am - outside of park HQ

We will plan the trails around the vehicles that are with us on any given day. We might challenge you a bit, but don't expect to be put into a situation that your truck can't handle.

May 4-6 is the weekend I've settled on for Hollister Hills. Brian called the ranger station today to inquire about the Hudner property. It's no longer reservable for day use, but we will still be able to access the trails. Apparently they're not very challenging, but it will be fun to see some new ones anyway.
Day use fee is $5. For anyone wanting to stay overnight, we'll plan on camping at the Sycamore Camp. Camping is an additional $10 per night.
EDIT: Let's go ahead and get the attendance list started so that we can hopefully try to get some of this planning done well in advance. Please give me your level of certainty for attendance AND the time frame that you are likely to be attending. If you plan on arriving Friday, some idea of when you are able to arrive would be nice too. (ie, JeniorNV - 100%, Friday (mid-day) through Sunday).
The closer we get to May, the more I'm going to start nagging you for a specific time frame. I don't know about you guys, but my cell phone reception sucks arse in Hollister. So it's going to be important for me to know who will be arriving when. We will likely need to arrange meeting times for anyone who can't get there as early as I can. I'm not sure when the gate code gets changed for the following day; calling the ranger station to find out is on my to-do list.
It will be easier to figure out meals and firewood once we've got a better idea of who will be attending.
To clarify, you are under absolutely no obligation to camp. If you just want to come Saturday or Sunday for the day, you are more than welcome. I just need to know when you are coming!
