The George Washington National Forest

The George Washington National Forest released a draft Forest Plan Revision on February 15. The revision will include changes to roadless area management, potential additions to wilderness areas and other amendments. Please review the draft document here, http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/gwj/forestpl...on/index.shtml and make sure that your recreational needs are addressed. Written comments should be submitted to:

The Forest will also hold a series of workshops in March to discuss the Forest Plan revision. These workshops will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about the plan and to have your voice heard. The workshop schedule is as follows:
