Castle Rock here. Transplant from Boston. Great place to live. DRIVERS SUCK out here though. I sometimes think that nobody here used thier rear view mirror and think the passing lane is a great place to drive 40mph.

Soon to be in the Denver area

My fiance' and I will be moving to the Denver area next June. Her aunt lives there, and I see that the houses are more affordable than they are here in Flagstaff AZ. I guess while I'm at it, is there any areas around denver or neighboring cities that I should avoid, such as crime? See ya next year!

Sure. Avoid Trinidad, pueblo, most of denver, and probably the springs and I think the crime rate will be acceptable!! Oh, and avoid Ft. Collins and Boulder because of all the college kids.

Seriously, there are parts of every city that are better than others. Northglenn is pretty bad. The old Commerce city is pretty bad, but the new developments out east are nice.
