Nebraskans

So I haven't found any nebraskans..most specifically Lincolnites....and what saddens me most, is when I wave at other guys driving frontiers, I get a look of confusion or disgust...where's the frontier love?

Most of my family's from or still in Nebraska. But every time I've been back I've never seen a Frontier.

neight, I know...there are hardly any gen I's...there are quite a few gen II's, but it seems like only old grumpy men drive them...no one waves back when I wave or anything, no inter vehicle comradery at all...very dissappointing. and to spyklee. there's not snow like there is in Colorado, but it snows a bit....we had a good 3 ft snow storm this past late winter, and theres quite a few little 3-4 incher ones through out winter...it's a good place...what city are you moving to, Omaha, Lincoln, or a smaller one?

I gotta admit though, the 1st time I went "off-roading" was at Lake Mcconaughey. That place kicks ***. It's the closest thing to an ocean that any of the states around here have. There are places where you can't see the other side, so you can trick yourself. But I could care less about an ocean. I wouldn't trade the Rockies for anything.

Lake M is pretty massive...although its shrinking in size impressivly and sadly due to drought...and that's about 50 minutes from where I live in Lincoln...there's some good mountain biking trails up there...as far as actual off road trails, I'm not too sure about actual off road trails for vehicles though...

Also, good news, I finally have driven by another frontier owner who waved back when I waved...late model gen II....'01-'04

Yea I didn't see any off-road trails either, that's what made it so fun

Congrats on the wave. I don't really wave on the streets because it is a little weird, but if I noticed someone wave at me I'd definitely wave back. And always, ALWAYS wave on the trails to all rigs.

of course...but also, I'm country raised...so I'm used to waving at everyone, known or unknown, and being that we have the same vehicle, and a vehicle that seemingly would have a family like group of owners, just seems like the people that own these beautiful things would be the type to wave back...but I"m starting to see more and more grumpy old dudes and less guys and girls that just love their car and people who share their love...and man, did it rain tonight!...got some good old mud love on her!!!

Im from elkhorn/omaha... and thats why I dont wave to anyone anymore because they look at you like your crazy.

Snow, its alright around here. We can get some pretty crazy storms during the winter but the biggest problem isnt the depth of snowfall but the wind pushing it around and covering up the roads ten minutes after it gets plowed.
