OK I'm back. 1500+ miles, one day of hard hunting, hot tubbing, 2 nights in a motel, and some sight seeing on the way home. 62 hours
Got up yesterday at 5 and went out to get ready to go hunting, it was teashirt weather so I decided to put a fork in it and take my sick wife home.
She came down with the flu down on the So-Cal fires and just slept in the truck while I hunted.
Tried to get some pics of park city's snowless ski jumps on the way through but it was to dark

Sun rising across the great salt lake

crossing the salt flats

side trip
This is the first time the salt has looked dry enough to get on while I was going through

I decided to make a run, the plan was to get up over 100 and get a pic with the speedo. However the salt was not very cooperative, by the time I got to 98 the salt was so wet there where water pools. Ol mutly was getting real loose and it just kept getting worse. I let out and the drifted a wide turn around 75 and started looking for dry salt. Here is a pick around 85 heading back

got salt

So how many gallons of super does he hold

We drive by here every year but this is the first time we stopped

A view from inside one of the out buildings, I bet inside the main building is wild

Sprayed off some of the salt in Elko
